Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Sales Intern to work with our Grocery West Sales Team. This is a remote internship that is targeting someone on the west coast.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Leads on UTZ Brand expansion plan development and Sales Operation execution
• Support Project Management Team lead - Development & Execution
• Monitor Sales, forecasts, emergent trends and business updates (changes in distribution, modulars, promotions, seasonality, etc.)
• Help develop collaborative internal and external strategies to maintain consistent inventory levels of service while avoiding inventory excess.
• Conduct comprehensive inventory pipeline analysis and collaborate with internal teams on inventory production and timing to maintain 100% supply chain availability while minimizing disruptions and excess inventory.
• Utilize strong analytical skills and UTZ specific system and best practice knowledge to identify and communicate potential negative impacts to levels of service and escalate those issues to appropriate sales teams until resolved.

Job Requirements

• Strong interest in Sales and Sales operations.
• Critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
• Skills include project management and ability to plan and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.
• Effective interpersonal, listening and organization skills; ability to plan and prioritize multiple concurrent projects.
• Demonstrates curiosity, resourcefulness, creativity, initiative, cooperation, and proactive communication.
