Overview

The purpose of this job is to provide system Administrator support for the PeopleSoft Business Information System running in a DB2/ZOS windows environment with specific emphasis on the server infrastructure. Primary responsibility is for the HRMS and FIN systems.

Responsibilities
    Configure and maintain PeopleSoft production, test and development environments and instances.
  • Perform periodic PeopleSoft application environment refreshes
  • Perform PeopleSoft project migration to Production system and maintain migration procedures to ensure change control.
  • Leading and implementing system upgrades of PeopleTools, and tax updates and bundles to the PeopleSoft applications.
  • Document and communicate project activities to the manager on a regular basis.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Four-year college education required or equivalent work experience
  • Two (2) or more years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financial application. Should have extensive experience with application configuration, upgrades and patches
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience with current database technologies
  • Project management experience
  • Experience installing applications
  • Knowledge of the process of installing applications.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft Applications and PeopleTools is a plus.
  • Understanding of database structures and data base access methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of client/server, internet, intranet and mainframe systems.
  • Understanding of data presentation and reporting methodologies.
  • Understands project plans and project management methodologies.
  • Analytical skills

  • People skills, leadership qualities
  • Self-starter, proactively delivers high-quality service to clients.
  • Effective project manager with ability to set objectives and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Working experience gathering and analyzing user requirements, performing fit/gap analysis.

Preferred:

  • Experience with banking, HRM and/or financial software applications preferred.
