The Fleet Management Assistant is responsible for the coordination of AccentCare's fleet program and assisting the Fleet Operations Manager as needed with fleet projects and uniform management. The Fleet Assistant will work closely with Fleet Manager and local AccentCare managers to provide administrative support to ensure accuracy and compliance on all fleet and uniform program processes and procedures.
- Coordinate the vehicle program by being the point of contact for disbursement and retrieval of vehicles to employees eligible for a company vehicle, ensure that vehicles are reclaimed when employees are terminated, ensure that each driver is fully informed of all customer and company expectations, address safety violations or incidents, manage accident investigations, coordinate regular maintenance with employee as efficiently as possible, and monitor personal vehicle usage and compute proper employee contributions for personal usage; perform daily accounting of assigned vehicles.
- Assist with all facets of uniform program.
- Assist with oversight of Department of Transportation compliance & reporting for fleet, ensure that inspections and proper registration and licensing of all fleet vehicles are kept up to date, govern compliance to fleet program policies and procedures, and maintain accurate records to show fleet compliance with all state and federal regulations
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- High school diploma, or additional related work experience required.
- Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Implement program changes. Ensure all drivers and affected leaders are trained in the program policies and procedures and all changes are reviewed with impacted staff prior to implementation.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
