Job/Internship Description

Responsibilities will include:

Reading and understanding customer specifications and how their impact on a design

Interfacing with drafting to develop documentation packages to be used for production builds and creating test procedures.

Aiding production in troubleshooting both new and legacy transformer product builds

With mentorship will support magnetic design efforts, understanding core selection, winding methods, insulation systems, calculate performance estimate.

Work with mechanical engineers and peers to develop design reports, design review packages.

Support design studies for novel transformer design concepts for high power density applications

Support test department for new projects.

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with an internship working on magnetic devices or power electronics is required. Exposure to inductors and transformers or MILSPEC products is preferred. Knowledge of Excel, FEA methods, 3D modeling, Matlab or equivalent software required.

Must have the ability to work in high pace environment and strong writing skills.

Requires US citizenship.
