Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As CD & Talent Lead you will play a pivotal role in helping us manage and further improve career development experience for our Client Focus Knowledge Team globally. In close cooperation with business leaders, working alongside the Knowledge@BCG HRBP, you will help deliver CD operations on a worldwide level. In addition, you will be a key player in our review of talent management and career development approaches, leveraging expertise from our CD CoE of which you will be a part.

The role will involve:
  • Management of annual CD activities and supporting business managers throughout the different steps
  • Actively engage in all CDC (Career Development Committee) meetings for relevant cohort(s) of individuals; review meeting inputs; ensuring best practices and consistent CDC decisions for relevant cohort(s)
  • Contribution to the advancement of CD, talent management and performance management experience, impact, and efficiency
  • Coordinating (and contributing to) a review of our approach, governance and decision making around career progression and promotions, including closer integration with talent management practices
  • Supporting global projects from a CD perspective
  • Driving adoption of new feedback and performance management tools (Workday)
  • Providing advice to new managers and new hires, developing instructional materials and online resources
  • Support line managers in defining driving career development plan for their teams

YOU'RE GOOD AT
  • Building relationships and managing stakeholders, including senior leaders
  • Driving innovation, and measuring impact
  • Suggesting creative concepts or ideas leveraging latest developments and career development
  • Excellent and proven conceptual and project management skills
  • Experience and interest in working on operational tasks and advisory, as well as contributing to strategic initiatives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including facilitation
  • Presence and assertiveness, confidence in working with business leaders
  • Superior self-management skills, ability to work independently and on non-structured topics, self-starter
  • Experience in working effectively in global, cross-cultural, and virtual teams
  • Highest level of reliability, confidentiality, and integrity expected
  • Occasional travel and flexible schedule, as required

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in people & organization topics, ideally with experience within a global HR environment in an organization of similar scale and complexity to BCG
  • Experience in career development and performance management, abreast of and passionate about trends and innovation in the field, including technology, Workday experience preferred
  • Experience in consulting services preferred
